A compendium of individual catalogs is published for each competition, showing the works of all prizewinners. The catalog and other competition media are each designed by one of the participating art academies. The catalog is published every two years to coincide with the opening of the exhibition.

The most recent catalog available is that of the 26th national competition, designed by Jonathan Körner, Manuel Bauer and Nicolai Zeiher, students of the Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart. The catalog consists of six individual catalogs, bundled in a slipcase, with images and texts on the prizewinners: Talya Feldman, Michael Fink, Rahel Goetsch, Hanna Kučera, Óstov Collective, Su Yu Hsin
