Tuition fees

At German universities, three different types of tuition fees have to be paid.

There are different types of tuition fees:

• general tuition fees for students without EU/EEA citizenship who study in Baden-Württemberg (1,500 euros per semester)
• long-term tuition fees (due after the standard period of study plus approx. four semesters)
• administrative, enrolment and re-registration fees (usually about 50 euros per semester)
