Private liability insurance

Although this insurance is not required by law, it is still one of the most important of all.

Liability insurance pays out if you accidentally cause damage to others, i.e. damage the property or health of strangers, e.g. in a traffic accident as a cyclist. The damage caused can cost millions and easily drive guilty parties to financial ruin.

Students are usually insured with their parents until they complete their (first) degree. However, they must notify their parents' liability insurance that they are beginning their studies.

Those who have already been employed after graduating from school usually have to take out their own liability insurance.
